Archery Taster

NOTE: There is a minimum age of 7 for our Archery taster session
What is included?
Our 1-hour Archery taster session which, with safety briefing etc will last around 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. A session during which you will learn the basics of how to use a traditional recurve bow and progress through to some fun and engaging games.
What to do before?
For our Archery Taster participants, fully enclosed footwear is required, and long sleeves and long trousers are recommended. For those not in long sleeves arms braces may be required. Please also pick a suitable number of clothing layers for the weather. Complete consent forms. Check site location and how to get there.
What will happen on the day?
Please aim to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time of your experience to make sure we can start promptly upon everyone’s arrival.
Anything else
Everyone will need to complete an online consent form prior to the activity, anyone under 18 years will need a parent or guardian to sign. Paper versions can also be completed on the day but if parents or guardians are not present to complete this form then under 18s may not be able to participate. Please make sure you read our terms and conditions.
There is the possibility for all our activities that you may get wet and muddy, especially water-based activities. As such it never hurts to bring a full change of clothes including spare shoes.
